| Who should register? All students in 2nd grade (regardless of whether they attend a Catholic school). When does class meet? For six 2-hour classes on Saturdays during the Spring semester:
Important Dates for 2024-25: Parent Meeting: January 15, 6:30 p.m.First Day of Class: January 25, 2:45 p.m. Important Information about Sacraments: Students must enroll in Family Faith Formation for two consecutive years before they can receive First Communion. Normally, this means that students enroll in FFF at the beginning of 1st grade before and start First Sacraments in January of 2nd grade. This requirement does not apply to Catholic school students - these students should only take First Sacraments. More about the program: Students will spend three classes preparing for First Reconciliation and three classes preparing for First Communion. Dates for the First Reconciliation Service and First Communion Mass will be provided at the parent meeting. | Who should register? All students in 8th grade (regardless of whether they attend a Catholic school). When does class meet? Every 2 weeks during the school year:
Important Dates for 2024-25: Parent Meeting: September 18, 6:30 p.m.First Day of Class: September 22, 9:40 a.m. Important Information about Sacraments: Students must enroll in Family Faith Formation for one year before taking the Confirmation class. Normally, this means that students must enroll in FFF during their 7th grade year. This requirement does not apply to Catholic school students. More about the program: Students will spend a full academic year preparing for Confirmation. The class meets twice a month and includes a handful of take-home assignments. There will also be a required retreat preceding the Confirmation Mass in the Spring. Specific dates will be sent to families who register. |
