In today’s Gospel, Our Lord is teaching us that the “Devil made me do it” as an argument has no merit. The problem of evil has plagued man and philosophy almost since Creation, and a trend has always tried to blame God or other things as the cause of sin when all man needed to do was look in the mirror.

Today we arrive at the conclusion of the five week long reflection on the Bread of Life Discourse. And today, we need to respond to the entire message of Jesus as the true Bread of Life and make a choice – a choice that is a deep and profound sign of loyalty to Jesus.

This Sunday the Church celebrates the Solemnity of the Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary into heaven. On this feast, we praise God who has taken the sinless Virgin Mary, body and soul, into His glory.

Our entry wall and signage project is currently underway! The new wall will serve to welcome guests to our campus, with a sign for the church, child care center, and Annunciation Catholic School.

As we enter the third week of Jesus’ five-week course on the mystery of His Body and Blood in the Eucharist, today's passage brings its attention to faith. The gift of faith is Jesus Himself - the "bread" of this eternal life, its source and sustenance.

St. Luke Catholic Church has designed the Family Faith Formation program to aid and encourage parents as the primary teachers in your child's faith formation. Our program also includes sacramental preparation classes for First Reconciliation, First Eucharist, and Confirmation. Registration for 2021/2022 school year is now open.
