After his ordination on Saturday in a beautiful Mass at the Cathedral in St. Augustine, Father Mason returned home to St. Luke on Sunday morning to offer a special Mass of Thanksgiving for his family, friends, and parishioners.
This Saturday, June 20 at 10:00 am, Mason Wiggins will be ordained to the priesthood by Bishop Felipe Estévez in a Mass of Ordination at the Cathedral Basilica of St. Augustine. At the 8:15 Mass on Sunday morning (which will be Livestreamed), Father Mason will conduct a Mass of Thanksgiving at St. Luke. Please join us in Congratulating and Welcoming Father Mason Wiggins!
"Truly, truly, I say to you, unless you eat the flesh of the Son of man and drink His blood, you have no life in you; he who eats My flesh and drinks My blood has eternal life, and I will raise him up at the last day." - John 6:53, 54
Easter ended last Sunday with Pentecost, and this week we have returned to Ordinary Time. As I mentioned many times before, there is nothing “ordinary” about this time as this Sunday brings our attention to one of the greatest mysteries of our faith – The Most Holy Trinity.
