This Sunday, November 1st, the Church celebrates the Solemnity of All Saints. This is a feast celebrating the whole point of human life – our universal call to holiness in order to advance on our pilgrimage of life to heaven, to be in eternal communion with God in His Kingdom of love.
We, as a nation, are in the process of preparing for the fast approaching elections at the presidential and state level. In response to our bishop’s letter, let me share some of my personal thoughts and experiences in regards to this matter. First of all, this election is most personal for me, since it is the first presidential election that I will vote as a new US citizen.

October is Respect Life Month, and the St. Luke Respect Life Ministry is involved in a very visible way of showing our commitment to the dignity of human life from conception to natural death.
