Welcome!
On behalf of our Family at St. Luke, we are delighted that you have chosen us as your new spiritual home. We are confident you will find our parish a welcoming place! We all pray that you may find warmth and happiness in our parish and we look forward to getting to know you in the weeks and months ahead!
At St. Luke, we know that we are all individual parts of the mystical Body of Christ, coming together with joy, praise and thanksgiving in doing God’s work here on earth. We invite you explore the 50+ ministries we have at St Luke and see if one of those interests you as we pray, work, and play together. Our website has information about the various groups and their activities serving our parish and our community.
Check out our Ministries Page for more information, and follow our Parish conversations and events on Facebook.
If you have not already registered with the Parish please do so by filling out the registration form and returning it to the Parish Office.
Also, we encourage you to read our Active Parishioner policy to understand the benefits of becoming and remaining an active Parishioner here at St. Luke Catholic Church.
Our weekly bulletin is available here.
All parishioners have access to FORMED, a provider of on-demand Catholic content including video programs, audio programs and e-books.
Registering for FORMED is easier than ever:
We maintain a page of Resources for Non-Catholics with information on what we believe, and a few arguments in favor of our beliefs. The first few months of the Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults are non-committal information sessions where the basics of Catholicism are taught in a classroom setting. We also hold apologetics meetings for discussing current events as they are relevant to our faith on Wednesdays at 10:00 AM along with various other events.
Guidelines for the Reception of Holy Communion
As Catholics, we fully participate in the celebration of the Mass when we receive Holy Communion, the true Body and Blood of our Lord. Yet, we Catholics should receive Holy Communion only when we are living in communion with the Catholic Church and in the state of sanctifying grace and have made the appropriate fast from food and drink. Because of the connection we draw between being in full communion with the Catholic Church and receiving Holy Communion, we cannot invite those who are not Catholic to share in Holy Communion with us. Still, we welcome all to this celebration of the Mass as our brothers and sisters, and pray that our common baptism and the action of the Holy Spirit will one day draw us closer “..that all may be one.” (John 17:22).
If you are interested in coming into full communion with the Church or having your child do so, please see our Becoming Catholic page. As always, you are welcome to contact a staff member with any questions; we would be glad to help.
